Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are always looking to support each other in their careers and that includes the pop star drawing up football plays for her boyfriend.
During a recent appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end shared how Swift has been especially interested in learning more about the sport.
“She had just been so open to learning the game, she didn’t know much about the rules and everything,” Kelce explained. “I think what makes her so good in her profession is that she’s so detailed in every aspect of it — from the words to the music to even the releases and the music videos and everything. She’s so detailed and a part of it is that I think she was just curious about the profession.”

So much so that she’s even created some plays of her own. “I know none of the plays have gotten to Coach [Andy] Reid yet, but if they ever do, I’ll make sure everyone knows it was her creation,” he added.
However, Kelce quipped that Swift’s plays are understandably centered around her favorite player: “She’s a little biased and just creates plays for me. We’ll see if they can make it to Coach Reid’s office.”
Kelce’s comments came after Patrick Mahomes first revealed last month that Swift had an interest in playcalling. “She’s really interested in football. She asks a lot of great questions. She’s already drawing up plays, so we might have to put one in,” the quarterback told NBC commentator Chris Simms.
The Grammy-winning singer and Chiefs tight end have been romantically linked since September 2023, after they first sparked dating rumors when Swift attended her first Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears. Throughout the season, the singer continued to show her support for Kelce at games, including at the Super Bowl, which saw the Chiefs win. As for Kelce, he made regular appearances at Swift’s Eras Tour shows over the summer.
